Biography

Yanelis Ana Collazo serves as a Legal Assistant at Bassey Immigration Law Center. She assists clients with Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) Petitions, Application for Asylum and Withholding of Removal, Naturalization, applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Employment Authorization Documents (Work Permits), Adjustment of Status (Green Card), and Petition for U Nonimmigrant Status (U Visa Petitions).

She graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, and she is originally from Los Angeles, California.

Yanelis is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She loves having family vacations and traveling to different places, reading, trying new foods, and listening to new music. Yanelis loves to constantly build her knowledge and improve her skills, which is why she finds working at Bassey Immigration Law Center fulfilling.
