Biography
Paola Villamarin is a Contract Paralegal with Bassey Immigration Law Center. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and over 5 years of experience as an immigration paralegal. Born in Ecuador and living in the United States for the last 18 years, Paola understands what it’s like to be an immigrant and its committed to serve our clients with professionalism and compassion. As a trilingual paralegal who is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese, Paola has vast experience in many family immigration petitions, such as: VAWA Applications, Form I-130, Adjustment of Status Applications, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Alien Fiancé(e) and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) Petitions, Consular Processing, Application for Asylum and Withholding of Removal, Naturalization, as well as I-601, I-601A, and I-212 Waivers of Inadmissibility. Her favorite cases are the Waivers of Inadmissibility.
In 2014, she was a client at Bassey Immigration Law Center, seeking for a Waiver for her former spouse, which was successfully approved. By going through the process, herself, she developed a passion for immigration law and waivers of admissibility since she gained a deep understanding of both, the legal and the emotional side of the I-601A waiver process. Since then, she decided that she wanted to help more families by becoming an immigration paralegal and in 2016, she joined the BILC team. On her free time, Paola likes spending time with her son, listening to music, and going to the beach.
