Helia De Cassia Benoit is a Paralegal with Bassey Immigration Law Center (BILC). She has been with BILC since November 2021. She is originally from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais -Brazil, and has been living in the United States for over three decades. She and her family went through the immigration process which initially sparked her interest in immigration law. She graduated from Hillsborough Community college in 2021.

She is fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to farmers markets and weekend getaways.
